Workshops and Community Engagements
I am devoted to creating welcoming spaces where people of all ages and backgrounds can engage, explore, and enrich their lives through art. I cherish facilitating creative experiences, especially with children and women, that nurture imagination, awaken the creative spirit, and foster meaningful dialogue rooted in love, harmony, and collective growth.

Grounded in my Sufi lineage, my practice embraces the belief that we are all interconnected. The creative power within each of us is a Divine gift; honouring it opens pathways to personal and collective healing, reflection, and connection.

These values shape every project I undertake. Through socially engaged art and community-based activities, I invite participants to co-create, reflect, and experience art as a spiritual practice, one that nourishes not just my soul, but the creative and compassionate spirit of all involved.
Through community-based projects and workshops, I step beyond the studio and exhibitions, aligning my work with a deeper purpose: to inspire, unite, and bring light into the world. Each shared creative encounter reaffirms my commitment to living as an artist whose practice is rooted in service as much as self-expression. I see this path as a lifelong calling, to cultivate connection, nurture collective well-being, and awaken shared meaning through the transformative and spiritual power of art.

Love for Peace or DeWar (WALL)
St Katherina Ruins, Nuremberg, Germany 2025
Sana Obaid invites audiences to reflect on the walls we build, around ourselves and between one another, through the silent, meditative act of constructing a circular wall brick by brick. This socially engaged performance fosters presence, empathy, and collective healing, turning labour into a prayer, a rose into an offering, and the space into a shared breath between division and union.
